Ok, so she got into St. Swithin's. The deposit is due with your acceptance of the offer of a place. The first semester's tuition is due on August 1. Now, how are you going to pay for this education?

Are You Eligible For Financial Aid?
You need to fill out the financial assistance forms and see what help is available. Don't be afraid to ask the school for financial aid. While the way money is awarded varies from school to school, each school will have funds available for deserving and qualified students. Why? Because private schools have recognized the need to diversify their client base. In fact, several top prep schools offer virtually free educations for qualified students from families making less than $75,000.

Put another way, private schools used to be for the rich. Not any more. Never be embarrassed to ask for financial assistance.
